I’m Candace – a mama of two, wife, and math teacher that loves to craft and crochet! I grew up working in my family’s flower shop and have loved creating in many different ways my whole life. I started selling at craft shows and in my family’s store back in 2015 and have learned so much along the way, including how to crochet!
Shortly after getting married to my best friend in 2015, I decided on my summer break from school that I wanted to teach myself how to crochet. After a failed attempt at learning to knit as a child, I was skeptical at first, but thanks to a lot of YouTube tutorials, I successfully learned the basics!
A few years after pivoting the focus of my handmade business to crocheted items, an amazing crochet blogger, Alexandra Richards, invited me to post pattern reviews on her blog, EyeLoveKnots. Collaborating with EyeLoveKnots has taught me so much more about how to read crochet patterns and has provided me with so many new skills. I have also learned so much about the crochet blogging world from her!
Now after almost 10 years of running a handmade business and crocheting, I want to share all I have learned about running a handmade business with you! On the blog, you can find free crochet patterns, market tips, and tutorials for making your business as successful as possible. My goal is to make this blog your one-stop-shop for all things crochet market prep!
