Llama - but make it Christmas!

I get so many requests at craft shows for specific animals I haven't made before. I always say, "I don't have one here, but I can make it for you!" And then I give them my card.

Unfortunately I rarely have people follow up with custom requests, but this little llama is proof that it does sometimes happen!

I'm so excited for this little cutie to go to its new home. I made sure to use Christmas colors for its little shawl too :)

🫟 Throwback Thursday🫟

While my business is a huge part of my life, right now it is my second job. I work full time as a high school math teacher. One of the common things teachers are tasked with is reflection.

I have learned that reflecting on my business is just as important as it is in the classroom. I've made a big shift over the past few years from working with worsted weight acrylic yarn to almost completely blanket yarn. I have started making more crowd favorites and fewer specialty items. Most importantly, I have really improved my branding and displays!

I'm so thankful for how much I have learned from this community and how it has helped me grow. Looking back on photos like these help me see my changes and also reminisce on my journey.

I may just be sentimental, but I think a few of these designs may need to make a comeback. (Just not that booth set up, lol)
